2012 NCDP State Convention

Raleigh Convention Center 500 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601
Parking:
Public Parking garages on Lenoir Street between Salisbury and McDowell Street; one on McDowell Street between Cabarrus and Davie Street; One on Salisbury Street between Cabarrus and Davie Street. Charge: $7.00 Accessible Parking: 1st level of each garage. Need Directions ?

Nearby Hotels with special rates for the convention are available for Convention Delegates.
Registration:
Registration will open on site at 08:30am with the General Session Scheduled to start at 10:00am. All Attendees must register and have credentials displayed in order to enter the convention meeting. There is no charge for registration to attend the convention, however, allied events such as the JJ Breakfast and JJ Dinner require a separately purchased ticket.
Who Can Attend:
All registered Democracts are welcome to attend and observe. Official convention delegates who were selected to represent their county at the 2012 North Carolina County Conventions and Elected Officials may attend and vote.

Become a Vendor or Advertise your Campaign:
We have limited space set aside for Vendors and Campaigns who wish to have a presence at the convention. To apply, please download and fill out the vendor contract and vendor registration forms and return them to Karen Jasmine at kjasmine@ncdp.org.
Allied Events:
Democratic Women of Wake County will host the 43rd Annual Jefferson-Jackson Breakfast at the Raleigh Convention Center. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. A plated breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9:00 a.m. The Keynote speaker is the Honorable Nina Turner, Ohio State Senator. Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorship packages will be used to help fund democratic candidates in 2012 and 2013 elections. The North Carolina Association of Teen Democrats (NCATD) will hold their 50th Anniversary Convention at the Raleigh Convention Center at 10:30 am in room 305B. The NCATD is the official high school auxiliary of the North Carolina Democratic Party. The NCATD is a statewide organization made up of local chapters all across North Carolina. It was founded by former Governor Terry Sanford in 1962, becoming the first state high school Democratic organization in the country. Through the NCATD, teens can play an active role in the Democratic Party and the political process.
The NCDP will host the annual Jefferson-Jackson Fundraising Dinner. Ticket information is available here.
